Brothers live together in harmony! (Psalm133)

This song was sung with mental agony by David. When David, the king, became old, he looked back on his life. He was anointed as king; he conquered Jerusalem and Zion and made it the city of David; he conquered the entire country of Israel promised by God to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; he destroyed all enemies; and he fulfilled God's promises, and he thought about them all. He boasted that he had stored up all the materials needed to build God's temple in Jerusalem.
He is now reviewing his family affairs. He feels great pain and regret, and he writes this song. Things that happened in his family, between brothers and sisters among his children, disturbed him.
Amnon, this (2 Samuel 13) son of David. Tamar was David's daughter and Absalom's sister. She is beautiful. Amnon longed and fell in love with Tamar. Due to this, he became weak and thinner day after day. David's brother's son Jonadab advised him to lie down as if he were sick. As Amnon asked the king to be served by Tamar, Tamar came and served him. Amnon raped Tamar when she came to the room. This happened among the sons of David. Because of this, Tamar's brother Absalom saw time to take revenge on Amnon.
After two years, he put this plan into action. He played with the sheep shearing; he made it a festival. David, the king, sent all his sons to this festival. Absalom had arranged many servants. While the feast was going on, Absalom had his brother Amnon beaten to death by his servants. This happened in the family of David.
This also happened in David's family.
David ran away, leaving 10 concubines to protect the house. To humiliate David, Absalom camped on the roof of the palace and raped them all when all the people were seeing. This also happened in David's family.
David's men and Absalom's men fought in the wilderness. Absalom's hair got caught in a terebinth tree (2 Sam. 18:15). Joab's ten servants surrounded Absalom and beat him to death. This also happened in David's family.
David's son (1 Kings 1:5). Adonijah planned to be the king after him and slaughtered the sheep in a place called Zoheleth. He arranged a party. David intended to make Solomon king. Now, in order to defeat this conspiracy plan, according to the advice of King David, the priest Zadok and the priest Nathan took Solomon to Gihon (1 King 1:40) and made him king there. Fearing for his life, David's son Adonijah grabbed the horns of the altar and escaped. This also happened in David's family.
Now, Adonijah plotted again. After David's death, he wanted to marry Abishag, David's maidservant and planned to become king (1 Kings 2:21). When King Solomon learned of this, he killed his brother Adonijah. This also happened in David's family.
Amnon rapes Tamar, Absalom kills Amnon with servants, Absalom plots to kill David, Absalom rapes 10 of David's wives, Absalom is killed, Adonijah rises against David, Adonijah is killed; All this happened between the brothers among the sons of David's family.
So David looked back at his family and said, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
In our church life, all redeemed and saved are brothers. Jesus will say the same thing if such murders and atrocities happen there.
When thus united and of one mind, David says that the place will fill the whole place like the anointing oil poured on Aaron’s head - as it fills the whole place with fragrance.
And he says that the snow that descends on Mount Hermon and Mount Zion will cool and refresh those places.
Friends reading this, how is your relationship with your brothers and sisters in your family? Even if your life seems like David's success, on the one hand, are you living in unity with your brothers and sisters? Let's get rid of rivalries, jealousies, murderous passions, lusts, and materialistic desires. Otherwise, you will have to mourn like David.

இந்த சங்கீதம் தாவீது அரசனால் ஒரு அங்கலாய்ப்போடு பாடப்பட்ட சங்கீதம். தாவீது அரசன் முதிர்வயதானபோது தனது வாழ்க்கையை திரும்பிப் பார்க்கிறான். அவன் அரசனாக அபிஷேகம் பண்ணப்பட்டது, எருசலேம், சீயோன் கோட்டையைப் பிடித்து தாவீது நகரமாக்கியது, ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபுக்கு தேவன் வாக்குக் கொடுத்த முழு இஸ்ரவேல் நாட்டைக் கைப்பற்றியது, எதிரிகளையெல்லாம் அழித்தது, தேவன் கொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை நிறைவேற்றினது என எல்லாம் எண்ணிப் பார்க்கிறான். எருசலேமில் தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் கட்டப் போதுமான எல்லாப் பொருட்களையும் சேமித்து வைத்து பெருமிதம் கொண்டான்.
இப்பொழுது தன் குடும்ப நிகழ்வுகளைத் திரும்பிப் பார்க்கிறான். அவனுக்குள் ஒரு பெருமூச்சு, ஒரு அங்கலாய்ப்பு வந்தது. இந்த சங்கீதத்தை எழுதுகிறான். தன் குடும்பத்தில், தன் பிள்ளைகள் மத்தியில் சகோதர, சகோதரிகளுக்கிடையில் நடந்த காரியங்கள் அவனை கலங்கச்செய்தது.
அம்னோன், இவன் (2 சாமு.13) தாவீதுவின் மகன். தாமார் இவள் தாவீதுவின் மகள், அப்சலோமின் சகோதரி. அழகுள்ளவள். அம்னோன், தாமாரிடத்தில் ஏக்கம், மோகம் கொண்டான். இதனால் பெலவீனப்பட்டான், மெலிந்துவிட்டான். தாவீதின் சகோதரன் மகன் யோனதாப் ஆலோசனைப்படி அவன் வியாதிக்காரன்போலப் படுத்துக்கொண்டான். ராஜாவினிடத்தில் தாமார் தனக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்ய சொன்னதுக்கிணங்க, தாமார் வந்து பணிவிடை செய்தாள். அறைவீட்டில் வந்த தாமாரை, அம்னோன் கற்பழித்தான். இது தாவீதின் மகன்கள் மத்தியில் நடந்தது. இதனால் தாமாரின் சகோதரன் அப்சலோம், அம்னோனை பழிவாக்க சமயம் பார்த்தான்.
இரண்டுவருடங்களுக்குப் பிறகு இந்தத்திட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றினான். ஆடுகளை எப்பிராயிமில் மயிர்கத்தரித்தான். தாவீது அரசன்- அம்னோனையும், ராஜாவின் மகன்கள் அனைவரையும் எப்பிராயிமுக்கு அனுப்பினான். அப்சலோம் அனேக அடியாட்களை ஏற்பாடு பண்ணியிருந்தான். விருந்து நடந்துக்கொண்டிருக்குப்போது, அப்சலோம் அடியாட்கள்மூலம் தன் சகோதரன் அம்னோனை அடித்துக் கொன்றான். இது தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
இதுவும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
வீட்டைக்காக்க தாவீது 10 மறுமனையாட்டிகளை வைத்து ஓடிப்போனான். தாவீதை அசிங்கப்படுத்த ,அரண்மனையின் மொட்டைமாடியில் கூடாரம் போட்டு, அப்சலோம் மக்கள் அனைவரும் பார்க்க அவர்களோடு உறவு கொண்டான். இதுவும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
தாவீதின் ஆட்களுக்கும் அப்சலோம் ஆட்களுக்கும் வனாந்திரத்தில் யுத்தம் நடந்தது. அப்சலோம் தலைமுடி கர்வாலிமரத்தில் சிக்கிக் கொள்ள (2 சாமு. 18:15) யோவாபின் ஆட்கள்பத்து சேவகர் அப்சலோமைச் சூழ்ந்து அவனை அடித்துக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள். இதுவும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
தாவீதுவின் மகன் (1 இராஜா. 1:5). அதோனியா அவனுக்குப் பிறகு அரசனாக திட்டம்போட்டு சோகெலெத் என்னும் இடத்தில் ஆடுமாடுகளை அடித்தான். விருந்து பண்ணினான். தாவீது சாலொமோனை அரசனாக்க எண்ணியிருந்தான். இப்பொழுது இந்தச் சதி திட்டத்தை முறியடிக்க தாவீது அரசன் ஆலோசனைப்படி, ஆசாரியன் சாதோக்கும், தீர்கத்தரிசி நாத்தானும் சாலொமோனை அழைத்து கீகோனுக்கு கொண்டுபோய் (1 இராஜா. 1:40) அங்கு அரசன் ஆக்கினார்கள். உயிருக்குப் பயந்து தாவீதின் மகன் அதோனியா பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகளைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு தப்பினான். இதுவும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
இப்பொழுது அதோனியா மீண்டும் சதி செய்தான். தாவீது மரணமடைந்த பிறகு, தாவீதின் பணிவிடைப் பெண் அபிஷாகை மணமுடித்து அரசனாக திட்டம் போட்டான் (1 இராஜா. 2:21). இதை அறிந்த சாலொமோன் அரசன், சகோதரன் அதோனியாவைக் கொலை செய்தான். இதுவும் தாவீது குடும்பத்தில் நடந்தது.
அம்னோன் தாமாரை கற்பழித்தது, அப்சலோம் அடியாட்கள் வைத்து அம்னோனைக் கொலை செய்தது, அப்சலோம் தாவீதை கொலை செய்ய திட்டம் போட்டது, 10 தாவீதின் பெண்களை அப்சலோம் கற்பழித்தது, அப்சலோம் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டது, அதோனியா தாவீதுக்கு எதிராக எழும்பியது, அதோனியா கொலைசெய்யப்பட்டது; இவை அனைத்தும் தாவீதின் குடும்பத்திலுள்ள பிள்ளைகள்மத்தியில் சகோதரர்களுக்கிடையே நடந்தன.
எனவே தாவீது தன் குடும்பத்தை திரும்பிப் பார்த்து அங்கலாய்து, "இதோ,சகோதரர் ஒருமித்து வாசம் பண்ணுகிறது எத்தனை நன்மையும் எத்தனை இன்பமுமானது?" என்கிறான்.
நமது சபை வாழ்க்கையிலும், மீட்கப்பட்ட, ரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட அனைவரும் சகோதரர்கள் . அங்கும் இப்படிப்பட்ட கொலைகள், அசிங்கியங்கள் நடக்குமானால் இயேசு இதையையே சொல்லுவார்.
இவ்வாறு ஒருமித்து, ஒரு மனதோடு இருக்கும்போது, அந்த இடம் ஆரோன் தலையில் ஊற்றப்பட்ட அபிஷேகத் தைலம்போல - அந்த இடம் முழுவதையும் நறுமணத்தால் நிரப்புவதுபோல நிரப்பும் என்கிறார்.
மேலும் எர்மோன் மலைமேலும், சீயோன் மலை மேலும் இறங்கும் பனி அந்த இடங்களைக் குளிரச்செய்து புத்துணர்வு கொடுப்பது போலக்கொடுக்கும் என்கிறார்.
