The Holy Bible - An Introduction ***************** "The Holy Bible is not a book but a library, a library with many books." The Roman emperor Diocletian built a memorial pillar in A.D. 301-304, declaring that he had burnt all the Bibles in our hands. Tyndale was burned alive for this, and Jan Huss was burnt for translation. The bones of Wycliffe—exhumed and burned—40 years after his death, and so on. Ancient traditional Christianity was an enemy of true Christians and the Bible. The blood and life sacrificed to get this Bible in our hands is immeasurable. The Bible is divided into two sections:    Old Testament - Old Covenant, with 39 books, and New Testament - New Covenant, with 27 books. It was written by different people from many different backgrounds, at many different times, and for people in many situations. It was written over a period of about 1500 years - in Asia, Africa, and Europe. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and parts of Daniel, Haggai, and Zechariah...

"The Mount of Olives and Jesus"

Mount of Olives ********** The Mount of Olives is 7  km east of Jerusalem. It is a small mountain vividly visible from the east gate of Jerusalem. It is about  827 meters high. Zechariah 14:4, "His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives," refers to the Second Coming of God in the Old Testament. The New Testament also says about this mountain in Acts 1:11, "This same Jesus, who was taken up from you called into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him."   Today, there are 300,000  graves on the Mount of Olives. These are the tombs of those who want to get resurrected first. These include Menachem Begin, a former prime minister of Israel, and Eliazer Ben Yahu, who revived the  Hebrew language. On that day, the Jews returned from different countries and spoke 66 languages. He united them by reviving the Hebrew language. Their graves fascinated me. The Mount of Olives returned to Israel in 1967 from Jordan after the "SIXDAY WAR."  During the wildern...

"Moses - A shadow of Jesus."

Moses - A shadow of Jesus.  ***************** When Jesus appears at the Second Coming,  "We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2). So we should be like Jesus to be found with Him at His coming. Many people of God in the Old Testament lived like Jesus.  Deuteronomy 18:15  Moses said to the Israelites, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear.” Jesus' shadow was seen in many things in Moses' life.  In Acts 3:22-24, Peter quoted this in the temple in Jerusalem and told the people, "This Jesus is the prophet who raised up like Moses," and asked them to listen to him. If we examine the life of Moses, we can see that the likeness of Jesus was reflected in him. The Israelites were slaves of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, when Moses was born.  Similarly, when Jesus was born as a man in Bethlehem, the Israelites were slaves to Caesar.  At the time of Moses' birth, Ki...
