"The Mount of Olives and Jesus"

The Mount of Olives is 7 km east of Jerusalem. It is a small mountain vividly visible from the east gate of Jerusalem. It is about 827 meters high. Zechariah 14:4, "His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives," refers to the Second Coming of God in the Old Testament. The New Testament also says about this mountain in Acts 1:11, "This same Jesus, who was taken up from you called into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him."
Today, there are 300,000 graves on the Mount of Olives. These are the tombs of those who want to get resurrected first. These include Menachem Begin, a former prime minister of Israel, and Eliazer Ben Yahu, who revived the Hebrew language. On that day, the Jews returned from different countries and spoke 66 languages. He united them by reviving the Hebrew language. Their graves fascinated me.
The Mount of Olives returned to Israel in 1967 from Jordan after the "SIXDAY WAR."
During the wilderness journey, a Tabernacle was made so that God could dwell among the Israelites. Instead of the Tabernacle, The temple was built in Jerusalem during the reign of King Solomon. Days passed, and kings changed. The Israelites forgot God. (2 Kings 21:2-9). They committed the abominations of the surrounding nations; they sacrificed to Baal; they built altars to other gods in the temple in Jerusalem; they sacrificed sons in the fire; they consulted the spirit; they saw the day; they set up idols in the temple, they did and committed abominations more wicked than the 7 tribes of Canan. In Ezekiel chapter 8, the Israelites worshipped the sun and moon in the temple. They smoked drugs (Ezekiel 8:17).
Now, God could not be present in the temple, and they drove God out (Ezekiel 8:6). And the glory of the LORD rose up from above the cherubim that were inside the temple, and stood at the door of the house (Ezekiel 9:3,4). Again, the LORD's glory rose from the top of the door and went to and stood upon the east gate (Ezekiel 10:19). And gradually came out of the temple and stood upon the city of Jerusalem. (Ezekiel 11:23). The glory of God left the city and stood on the mountain in the east. The mountain to the east is the Mount of Olives. From there, it went to heaven. After this, the Temple in Jerusalem was demolished and burned. The glory taken from the Mount of Olives has not yet returned.
But at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Ezekiel 43:1-4), Ezekiel saw in a vision that the glory of God came from the east and entered the temple through the east gate of Jerusalem. This is a prelude to what is to happen in the New Testament.
Thus, after living in the Tabernacle among the Israelites and ascending to heaven, God took incarnation as a child in Bethlehem as Jesus, the Redeemer. He preached to the people to repent for their sins. Jesus went around Judea and Samaria and did good. He cast out demons, gave sight to the blind, healed the lepers, and raised the dead. To crown everything, he raised Lazarus from the dead after four days.
Because of these, the chief Priests, Pharisees, and Scribes in Jerusalem were filled with envy (John11:47), and they plotted to kill Jesus. Jesus looked at Jerusalem and wept (Luke 19:41). Jesus groaned, "I was willing to take your children in as a hen gathers her chicks." Jesus came from Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives (Matthew 24:3). The disciples asked for a sign for the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. Like the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew Chapter 5, He sat on the mount of olives and said, "Famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and wars" will come. False prophets will arise. All this signs have now been fulfilled. The Mount of Olives is the symbol of His Second Coming. After this, Jesus went to Jerusalem and observed the Passover. He returned to the Mount of Olives and prayed in distraught at Gethsemane. (Matthew 26:30). (He went to the Mount of Olives when the temple became disgusting in the Old Testament). Now, the soldiers caught Jesus. The chief priests, Herod and Pilate, falsely judged, crucified, killed, and buried in the tomb. Jerusalem did not receive Jesus. Jesus rose again on the third day.
Jesus appeared to the apostles 40 days after his resurrection (Acts 1:3). On the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:12), Jesus told the apostles that they shall receive the Holy Ghost, shall receive power, and shall be a witness unto the ends of the earth. Then He was taken up from the Mount of Olives into heaven. Two angels dressed in white say to the disciples, "This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." Even after this, the Temple in Jerusalem was demolished and burned.
In the Old Testament, the glory that was in Jerusalem was similarly taken from the Mount of Olives, and the temple was demolished and burned.
Now, the Mount of Olives is back to the Jews in 1967, and Jesus will suddenly descend on the Mount of Olives.TV channels like BBC, CNN, etc., will announce that the missing Jesus of Nazareth has come.

சிறிய மலை இந்த ஒலிவ மலை. சுமார் 827 மீட்டர் உயரம் கொண்டது.
சக.14:4 -ல் "அவருடைய பாதங்கள்
ஒலிவமலையில் வந்து நிற்கும்" என்று தேவனுடைய இரண்டாம் வருகையை பழைய ஏற்பாடும், அப்.1:11 -ல், "ஒலிவ மலையில் இருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப் பட்ட இயேசுவானவர், அப்படியே மீண்டும் வருவார்" என்று புதிய ஏற்பாடும் இந்த மலையைக்குறித்துச்
சொல்கின்றன.

ஜோர்டான் நாட்டினரிடம் இருந்த ஒலிவமலை, 1967- ம் ஆண்டு 6 நாள் யுத்தத்தில் இஸ்ரேலிடம் வந்தது. வனாந்திரயாத்திரையின்போது இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மத்தியில் தேவன் வாசம் பண்ண ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரம் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது. இதற்குப்பதில் சாலொமோன் அரசன் காலத்தில் எருசலேமில் ஆலயம் கட்டப்பட்டது. நாட்கள் கடந்தன, அரசர்கள் மாறினார்கள். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தேவனை மறந்தார்கள்.(2 இரா.21:2-9) சுற்றி இருக்கிற ஜாதிகளின் அருவருப்புகளைச் செய்தார்கள், பாகாலுக்கு பலியிட்டார்கள், எருசலேம் ஆலயத்தில் அந்நிய தேவர்களுக்கு பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டினார்கள், குமாரர்களை தீயில் பலியிட்டார்கள், அஞ்சனம் பார்த்தார்கள், நாள் பார்த்தார்கள், ஆலயத்தில் சிலை வைத்தார்கள், கானானிய 7 ஜாதியைக்காட்டிலும் துன்மார்க்கமாய் அருவருப்புகளைச் செய்தார்கள். எசேக்கியேல் 8-ம் அதிகாரத்தில் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் ஆலயத்தில் சூரியனை, சந்திரனை வழிபட்டார்கள். போதைப்புகை பிடித்தார்கள். (எசே. 8:17).
இப்பொழுது, தேவனால் ஆலயத்தினுள் இருக்க முடியவில்லை. தேவனை விரட்டினார்கள் (எசே. 8:6). "அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை ஆலயத்தின் உள்ளே உள்ள கேரூபீன் மேலிருந்து எழும்பி ஆலயத்தின் வாசல்படியிலே வந்து நின்றது (எசே. 9:3,4). மீண்டும் வாசற்படியின் மேலிருந்து எழும்பி, ஆலயத்தின் (எசே.10:19). கிழக்கு வாசல் மேல் நின்றது. இவ்வாறு படிப்படியாக ஆலயத்தைவிட்டு வெளியேவந்து எருசலேம் நகரத்தின் மேல் நின்றது. (எசே.11:23) -ல் இந்த தேவனுடைய மகிமை நகரத்தை விட்டு கிழக்கே இருக்கும் மலையின் மேல் போய்நின்றது. கிழக்கே இருக்கும் மலை, ஒலிவ மலை. அங்கிருந்து பரலோகம் சென்றது. இதன் பிறகு எருசலேம் ஆலயம் இடிக்கப்பட்டது, எரிக்கப்பட்டது. ஒலிவ மலையிலி ருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட மகிமை இன்னும் திரும்பி வரவில்லை.
ஆனால் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரண்டாம் வருகையின் போது (எசே.43:1-4), தேவனுடைய மகிமை கீழ்திசையிலிருந்து வந்து, எருசலேமின் கிழக்கு வாசல் வழியாய் ஆலயத்துக்குள் பிரவேசித்ததை எசேக்கியேல் தரிசனத்தில் கண்டான். புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் நடக்கப்போகும் சம்பவத்தின் முன்னோடியே இது.
இவ்வாறு இஸ்ரவேலர் மத்தியில் ஆசரிப்பு கூடாரத்தில் வாசம்செய்து பரலோகம் சென்ற தேவன், மனுக்குலத்தின் மீட்பராக, இயேசு பாலகனாக பெத்லகேமில் மனித அவதாரம் எடுத்தார். மக்களைப் பார்த்து மனம்திரும்புங்கள் என்றார். யூதேயா, சமாரியா நாடெங்கும் நன்மை செய்கிறவராக சுற்றி வந்தார். பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தினார், குருடனுக்கு பார்வை கொடுத்தார், குஷ்டரோகிகளைக் குணப்படுத்தினார், மரித்தவர்களை உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார். எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மகுடம் சேர்க்கும் வண்ணமாய் மரித்து 4 நாட்களான லாசருவை உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார்.
இதனால் எருசலேமில் பிரதான ஆசாரியரும், பரிசேயரும், வேதபாரகரும், பொறாமையால் நிறைந்து (யோவா.11:47) இயேசுவை கொலை செய்யத் திட்டம் தீட்டினார்கள். அப்பொழுது இயேசு எருசலேமைப்பார்த்து கண்ணீர் விட்டார் (லூக். 19:41). "கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைச் சேர்க்கும் வண்ணமாய் நான் உன் பிள்ளைகளைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தேன்" என்று அங்கலாய்த்தார். இயேசு எருசலேமிலிருந்து ஒலிவ மலைக்கு வந்தார் (மத்.24:3). எருசலேம் ஆலயம் இடிக்கப்படுவதற்கு சீடர்கள் அடையாளம் கேட்டார்கள். இயேசு மத். 5 -ல் வரும் மலைப்பிரசங்கம் போல ஒலிவ மலையில் அமர்ந்து "பஞ்சங்கள், கொள்ளைநோய்கள், பூமியதிர்ச்சிகள், யுத்தங்கள்" வரும். கள்ளத்தீர்கத்தரிசிகள் எழும்புவார்கள் என்றார். இதில் அவர் சொன்ன அடையாளங்கள் எல்லாம் இப்பொழுது நிறைவேறிவிட்டன. ஒலிவமலைதான் அவருடைய இரண்டாம் வருகைக்கு அடையாளம். இதன் பிறகு அவர் எருசலேம் சென்று பஸ்கா அனுசரித்தார். மீண்டும் ஒலிவ மலைக்கு வந்தார். அங்கே கெத்செமனேயில் வியாகுலப்பட்டு ஜெபித்தார் (மத்.26:30). (பழை ஏற்பாட்டிலும் ஆலயம் அருவருப்பாய் மாறினபோது ஒலிவமலைக்கு சென்றார்). இப்பொழுது போர்ச்சேவகர்கள் அவரைப்பிடித்தார்கள். பிரதான ஆசாரியர்கள், ஏரோது, பிலாத்து பொய்யாய் நியாயம் விசாரித்து சிலுவையில் அறைந்து கொலை செய்தார்கள், கல்லறையில் அடக்கம் பண்ணினார்கள். இயேசுவை எருசலேம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. இயேசு மூன்றாம்நாள் உயிர்த்தெழுந்தார்.
இயேசு உயிர்த்தெழுந்த பிறகு 40 நாட்கள் அப்போஸ்தலருக்குத் தரிசனமானார் (அப்.1:3). ஒலிவமலையில் வைத்து அவர்களிடம் (அப். 1:12) நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தாவியைப் பெறுவீர்கள், பெலனடைவீர்கள், பூமியின் கடைசிவரை சாட்சியாய் இருப்பீர்கள் என்றார். அப்பொழுது ஒலிவமலையில் இருந்து அவர் வானத்துக்கு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டார். வெண்மை ஆடை அணிந்த இரண்டு தூதர்கள் அங்கிருந்த சீஷர்களைப்பார்த்து "வானத்துக்கு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட இயேசு அப்படியே வருவார்" என்றார்கள். இதன் பிறகும் எருசலேம் ஆலயம் இடிக்கப்பட்டது, எரிக்கப்பட்டது.
பழைய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் எருசலேமிலிருந்த மகிமை, ஒலிவ மலையிலிருந்து இது போல எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. அப்பொழுதும் ஆலயம் இடிக்கப்பட்டது, எரிக்கப்பட்டது.
இப்பொழுது ஒலிவமலை மீண்டும் யூதர்களிடம் 1967 -ல் வந்துவிட்டது. இயேசு திடீரென்று ஒலிவமலையில் வந்து இறங்குவார். BBC, CNN, - போன்ற TV channels (சானல்கள் ) "காணாமல் போன நசரேயனாகிய இயேசு வந்து விட்டார்" என்று அறிவிக்கப்போகிறார்கள்.
சபையே இதற்கு ஆயத்தமா? ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும் வேலையை செய்கிறீர்களா?.
