"Enoch walked closely with God."
Enoch's life was wonderful, having been living with God in heaven for 5,370 years. He lived on this earth in which we are living for 365 years. So he is still living in the body without seeing death for about 5735 years.
This Enoch was born in the 622nd year after the creation of Adam. He was taken by God without seeing death, the 987th year since Adam was created. So Enoch, Adam (created year 0), Seth (born year 130). Enos (born in the year 235), Cainan (325), Mahaliel (395), Jared (460), Enoch (622), Methuselah (687), Lamech (874), and Enoch lived with those born from the creation of Adam.
Adam was 622 years old when Enoch was born. In his 365 years of earthly life, Adam was the only dead person mentioned in the Bible during his time. Abel was murdered before Enoch was born.
Enoch begat Methuselah when he was 65 years old. After that, he walked with God for 300 years. It is said that during that time, he gave birth to sons and daughters. The total number of years Enoch lived on earth was 365 years. After this, God took him alive. And he is still alive. When he was 65 years old, his first son, Methuselah, was born. So, we know that a change comes to Enoch when he is involved in married life. How it came was not given. But it came. He began to walk with God. His family life, the birth of sons and daughters, did not hinder his walk with God; he was not unholy or defiled. God walked with him during these 300 years.
This is how God walked with Adam in the garden during the cool of the day. God could not walk with Adam because he sinned. That Adam had to die.
Enoch sees Adam's condition. Adam and Enoch lived on this earth for 308 years at the same time (Contemporary). So Enoch learned that because, Adam's fall, he broke his relationship with God, and death was destined for him. Then, Adam's death had a great impact on him.
According to (Hebrews 11:5), he believed that he would be caught up without seeing this death, that is, without dying. So he wandered more with God (which Adam lost). He maintained holiness in his family life and in walking with God.
And he believed and declared that God would return with angels to judge those who had sinned like Adam (Jude 1:14,15). He is still living with God.
How is our life? Are we walking with God? Do we have a relationship with him?
Do we believe that God will come to judge the world?
Let us walk with him as Enoch did in our worldly life.

ஏனோக்கு (ஆதி.5:21-24)

இந்த எனோக்கு பிறந்தது, ஆதாம் உண்டாக்கப் பட்டதிலிருந்து 622 - ம் வருடம். அவன் சாகாமல் தேவனால் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது, ஆதாம் உண்டாக்கப் பட்டதிலிருந்து 987-ம் வருடம். எனவே ஏனோக்கு, ஆதாம் (0 வருடம் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டான்), சேத் (130 -ம்வருடம் பிறந்தான்).
ஏனோஸ் (235- ம் வருடம் பிறந்தான்), இதுபோல கேனான்- 325, மகாலியேல்-395, யாரேத்-460, ஏனோக்கு- 622, மெத்தூசலா- 687, லாமேக்கு- 874- ஆகியவர்களோடு, ஏனோக்கு, ஆதாம் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டதிலிருந்து பிறந்தவர்களோடு வாழ்ந்தவன்.
ஏனோக்கு பிறக்கும்போது ஆதாமுக்கு 622 வயது. இவனுடைய 365 வருட உலக வாழ்க்கையில், இவன் காலத்தில் வேதாகமத்தில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மரித்த ஒரே நபர் ஆதாம். ஆபேல், ஏனோக்கு பிறப்பதற்கு முன்பாகவே கொலை செய்யப்பட்டான்.
ஏனோக்கு 65 வயதானபோது மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெறுகிறான். அதன்பிறகு 300 வருடங்கள் தேவனோடு சஞ்சரித்தான் ( நடந்தான்). .அந்தக்காலத்தில் அவன் மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் பெற்றெடுத்தான் என்றுக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஏனோக்கு பூமியில் வாழ்ந்த மொத்த வருடங்கள் 365 வருடம். இதன் பிறகு தேவன் அவனை உயிருடன் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார். இன்னும் உயிருடன் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறான். அவனுக்கு 65 வயதாகும் போது முதல் மகன் மெத்தூசலா பிறக்கிறான். அதனால் ஏனோக்குக்கு திருமண வாழ்க்கையில் ஈடுபட்டபோது ஒரு மாற்றம் வருகிறது என்று நாம் அறியலாம். எப்படி வந்தது என்றுக் கொடுக்கப்பட வில்லை. ஆனால் வந்தது. அவன் தேவனோடு சஞ்சரிக்க- நடக்க, ஆரம்பித்தான். அவனது குடும்ப வாழ்கை, மகன்கள், மகள்கள் பிறந்தது, அவனது தேவனோடு நடக்கும் செயலுக்கு தடையாக இல்லை, பரிசுத்தக் குறைவாக,குலைச்சலாக இல்லை. இந்த 300 வருடங்கள் தேவனும் அவனுடன் உலாவினார்.
இப்படித்தான் தேவன் ஆதாமோடு பகலின் குளிர்ச்சியான வேளையில் தோட்டத்தில் உலாவி வந்தார். அவன் பாவம் செய்யவே தேவனால் ஆதாமோடு உலாவ முடியவில்லை. அந்த ஆதாம் மரணமடைய வேண்டியதாய் இருந்தது.
இந்த ஆதாமுடைய நிலையை ஏனோக்குப் பார்க்கிறான். ஆதாமும், ஏனோக்கும் 308 வருடங்கள் இந்த பூமியில் ஒரே நேரத்தில் வாழ்ந்தவர்கள். எனவே ஏனோக்குக்கு ஆதாமின் வீட்சியால் தேவனிடத்தில் இருந்த உறவு முறிவும், மற்றும் சாவும் அவனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டது என்பதையும் அறிந்தான். பிறகு ஆதாம் மரணமடைந்தது ஒரு பெரிய தாக்கத்தை அவனில் ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டது.
(எபி.11:5)-ன் படி, தான் இந்த மரணத்தைக் காணாமல், அதாவது மரணமடையாமல் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவேன் என்று விசுவாசித்தான். எனவே தேவனோடு அதிகமாய் சஞ்சரித்தான் (இதை ஆதாம் இழந்தான்). இவன் குடும்ப வாழ்க்கையிலும், தேவனோடு உலாவுவதிலும் பரிசுத்தத்தைக் காத்துக்கொண்டான்.
மேலும் இவன் ஆதாமைப்போன்று பாவம் செய்தவர்களை நியாயம் தீர்க்க தேவன் (யூதா.1:14,15) திரும்ப தூதர்களோடு வருவார் என்றும் விசுவாசித்து அறிக்கையிட்டு நடந்தான். இன்றும் தேவனோடு வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறான்.
நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை எப்படி இருக்கிறது. தேவனோடு நடக்கிறோமா? அவரோடு உறவாடுகிறோமா?.
தேவன் உலகை நியாயம் தீர்க வருவாரென்று விசுவாசிக்கிறோமா?
நாமும் நம்முடைய உலக வாழ்க்கையில் ஏனோக்கு போல அவரோடு நடப்போம்.
