"Balaam's greed led to destruction."

Balaam-Way (Doctrine of Balaam) **************** "Let me die the death of righteous" (Numbers 23:10); by stating this, Balam started the prophecy. God has written about Balaam,  along with others whom Israel killed (Moabites, Midianites). "They also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword" (Numbers 31:8, Joshua 13:22). Let us see why a prophet who became a diviner was cut down and killed by circumcised people among uncircumcised people. As the final stage of their wilderness pilgrimage, the Israelites camped on the plains of Moab east of the Jordan opposite Jericho. They had destroyed Sikon, the king of the Amorites, and Ogai, the king of Bashan. Those who had hitherto fought against the humans now had to do battle with a "Spiritual" enemy. Balak, the king of Moab, was afraid of what the people of Israel had done to the Amorites and Bashan. "He said to the elders of the Midianites: As the cow grazes the grass of the field, so now this flock will ...

Brothers live together in harmony! (Psalm133) **************** This song was sung with mental agony by David. When David, the king, became old, he looked back on his life. He was anointed as king; he conquered Jerusalem and Zion and made it the city of David; he conquered the entire country of Israel promised by God to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; he destroyed all enemies; and he fulfilled God's promises, and he thought about them all. He boasted that he had stored up all the materials needed to build God's temple in Jerusalem. He is now reviewing his family affairs. He feels great pain and regret, and he writes this song. Things that happened in his family, between brothers and sisters among his children, disturbed him. Amnon, this (2 Samuel 13) son of David. Tamar was David's daughter and Absalom's sister. She is beautiful. Amnon longed and fell in love with Tamar. Due to this, he became weak and thinner day after day. David's brother's son Jonadab advised him t...

John the Baptist **************** Malachi, the last prophet of the Old Testament, said, " Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me." (Malachi 3:1). After this, God was silent for 400 years. Then, in the first New Testament comes a priest named Zechariah from the priestly family of Abijah. His wife was Elizabeth, Aaron's daughter. As God announced in the temple to Zechariah, a son named John was born to this elderly couple. He was the only priest born according to God's pre-announcement. This John was filled with the Holy Spirit while still in Elizabeth's womb—the Anointed One. (The priests who were there at that time were the same priests who planned to kill Jesus). According to God's pre-announcement, John the Baptist was born in Aaron's family at this time. He grows up to 30 years. In those days, the priests offered sacrifices to cleanse the sins committed. But he said, "Repent - Change heart."   To repent and cleanse ...

A mother and daughter ******************** After the reign of King Solomon, the nation of Israel was divided into two parts: the 10-tribe country of Israel in the north and the 2-tribe country of Judea in the south. This northern Israel had no king from the line of David and no priests from the family of Aaron. So they worshiped foreign gods instead of Jehovah. A woman named Jezebel rose to power in Israel, and her daughter Athaliah in Judea. Since then, Baal worship has come to these countries. Murders and destruction came into the kingdom. Let us see how these regimes came about. Omri became king of Israel. His son Ahab became king after him. Ahab married Jezebel, the daughter of the king of Sidon. She came with her Baal god and 850 Baal prophets and filled Samaria with Baal idols. King Jehoshaphat of Judah (beloved of the Lord) became a relative of Ahab by marrying his son to Ahab's daughter, Athaliah, and his son Joram. This was his big mistake. And the names of Ahab's sons...
